So i finally got round to installing Wordpress again.
I’ve been putting it off because this domain was originally hosted in an environment which did not meet the minimum specs to run Wordpress. A situation which would have been entirely resolvable save for my laziness.
Anyway, here we are in a crisp new Wordpress environment, on a lovely new server. Take a deep breath, the air is fresh here.
I’m still tinkering with themes, widgets and plug-ins. This software has come on a long way since i last used it. Integrating Twitter as a widget was a snap thanks to Alex King’s plugin. I also found Ardamis’ Xbox gamercard plugin, which is a much nicer solution than the static images that i’ve seen some people using.
Anyway, i’m going to tinker further with this.
